POW HAUS is a beautiful and cozy condo in Avon, CO, directly across the street from Beaver Creek's free Bear Lot shuttle. Incredibly convenient location. Close to fishing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, stand up paddle boarding and some of the most beautiful mountains in Colorado. POW HAUS is proudly hosted by superhosts Jason & Shannon. Strict No Pet Policy: You will see in the rules section that we do not allow pets or emotional support animals. We are very strict about this rule and will trespass violators from the property. The absolute only exception to this rule is for service dogs that are covered by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). Any request for an exception that is not for a trained service dog will be immediately rejected. It is illegal in the State of Colorado to intentionally misrepresent a pet or an emotional support animal as a service dog. It is a class 2 petty offense and will be prosecuted. If you are bringing a legitimate service dog with you, please know that while comply with all ADA rules regarding service dogs, we expect the same from you too! According to the ADA, a service dog may not be left in a hotel room when its handler leaves the hotel room because the handler must remain in control of the service dog at all times. - No shoes in the house. - No skis or snowboards in the house. They should be kept in the patio ski closet. You can access the patio ski closet from outside the unit. - No glitter (never again!)

Neighborhood

We are directly across the street from Beaver Creek's Bear Lot Shuttle, which will take you up the hill to the Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express chair lift in less than 5 minutes or to Beaver Creek Village itself in about 10 minutes. We are only 1 mile away from Avon's city center, including the famous Westin Hotel. We are roughly a 10 minute walk to Nottingham Park, where you can swim and stand up paddle board all summer long. Lastly, an amazing restaurant called Agave as well as a nail salon and liquor store are directly across the street.

I loved this condo unit. Great location, with a short 4 or 5 minute walk to the free shuttle stop at the Beaver Creek "Bear" parking lot. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, plus a fold-out couch in the living room. Entry is down a half-flight of stairs (6 or 7), but you can unload your car by just handing your stuff down from one person to another in the open patio area. There are three temperature controls, one for the common area and separate ones for in each bedroom. The hosts are responsive and will answer any questions promptly.

Jason and Shannon’s place was so convenient to skiing. You can walk right to the Bear Lot. You can also walk to Agave, which is delicious. The condo was well stocked, extremely tidy, and comfortable. The ski locker outside is also convenient. We enjoyed being able to cook and the grocery store is a 5 minute drive away. We barely needed a car for the whole week. Jason was very responsive and proactive in communicating. We would definitely recommend this stay.

Immaculate, cozy, well decorated place! Comfortable beds, nicely remodeled, quiet (even being a bottom-floor unit!). Very well stocked kitchen. And if you're skiing, it's incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute easy walk to Bear Lot shuttle.

Jason and Shannon's place was perfect for our family of five. We were so close to the stop at Bear Lot and were able to carry our skis/snowboards there in the morning and be on the slopes in no time. Jason went above and beyond as a host and was so kind, which alone is a reason to book this place again. The place is well equipped and fit us well!

This condo is perfection. Great location. Easy to find. Parking available everywhere. Right across the street from a major shuttle stop for town and up to Beaver Creek mountain! It’s decorated so cute and cozy!! Absolutely recommend a stay here!!

Find us

As far as skiing/snowboarding at Beaver Creek is concerned, you won't need your car at all. You can hop on the free shuttle to the ski lift directly across the street. You will need a car to ski anywhere besides Beaver Creek (Vail, Copper, Breckinridge, Keystone, A-Basin). We do also recommend a car for grocery shopping and other random needs.
